Principal
John Cassibry is a seasoned political strategist and media professional with a proven track record in shaping impactful campaigns at various levels of government. His expertise spans field organizing, communications strategy, and digital advocacy, focusing on progressive causes and candidates.
John has played key roles in high-profile campaigns, including DHS official Nate Snyder’s campaign for DNC Chair in 2025, and Joe Cunningham's gubernatorial campaign in 2022, where he organized grassroots voter mobilization efforts and coordinated community engagement strategies. He has also contributed to state house, state senate, city council, and school board campaigns, demonstrating his ability to adapt to diverse political landscapes.
Previously, John served as the Vice President of Bold South Strategies, spearheading grassroots and digital advocacy initiatives, building coalitions, and utilizing data-driven insights to optimize campaign outcomes. John has also spent time with one of the southeast’s leading communications firms, NP Strategy, and one of the nation’s leading energy and infrastructure think tanks, The Alliance for Innovation and Infrastructure.
Born in Bethesda, Maryland, John spent his most formative years in Columbia, South Carolina, and graduated from the University of South Carolina. John now lives in North Charleston with his beautiful wife, Hannah, and their dog, Lennon, who keeps him on his toes. With family roots in Mobile, Alabama, and Pensacola, Florida, John has developed a deep appreciation for Southern politics. Drawing on his Southern background, he proudly champions South Carolina barbecue as the gold standard and Jimmy Buffett as one of the greatest poets of our time.
